nyjets12
Everything was working fine.. wireless, sound, Intel GMA 950, CD RW/DVD-ROM I was asked if I wanted to install the latest iTunes and in the past it was never a problem.. after installing the update iTunes will no longer run, it says it requires OSx 10.4.9 or later.. It has been a long time since I installed JaS 10.4.7 on this laptop, but is there a real easy/safe way to update this machine to 10.4.9 without reinstalling from scratch? Any help appreciated! hecker
Don't think so. You'll be better off by making a full system (bootable) backup with SuperDuper (If you have a spare drive, that would be excellent in case of a disaster), installing 10.4.9 (or higher) and then using the migration assistant to recover your old files. Easy as cake. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/83701-itunes-will-no-longer-launch-after-itunes-update/#findComment-594831 Share on other sites
