iNoob
1. If you have SATA and your disc doesn't have the new nForce SATA kext, use the VMware-to-native method or modify the ISO. These processes are well explained in the forum. 2. Install like you would do on a Mac. Remember: Empty disks MUST be partitioned using MBR. To do it, open Disk Utility on the DVD and select your HD. Then go to the "Partition" tab, click "Options" and choose "Master Boot Record". If you are installing to a HD which has other OS(es) installed, you don't need to do this. 3. Setup your system. I did even registered my system with Apple! 4. Install drivers. See bottom of page. 5. If you have other expansion cards, such as I which have a D-Link DWL-G510 B1 wireless card, install drivers for them. 6. Install fixes if you need them. 7. Enjoy! 8. Report you results, specifying your system, install method and disk. Driver List: Ethernet: http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=73317 Edit IOPCIMatch string to add 0x026910de. Works in Tiger, may not work in Leo. Also try this, works on 10.5: http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?sho...mp;&do=findComment&comment=638200 SATA: http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?sho...ic=77071&hl All four ports work, don't expect NCQ to work either. Read-write, even with large files. IGP: (No QE/CI) http://rapidshare.com/files/55901229/MacVi...81.pkg.zip.html Macvidia 1.0.81, delete NVidiaGL.bundle and NVidiaGA.plugin to avoid panics. If you want only 1024x768x32@60, remove NVDAResman.kext. All files are inside the /System/Library/Extensions folder. To make PS/2 mouse and keyboard work: Disable USB legacy support on the BIOS Setup. No, you will still be able to use USB keyboard and mice. faj3r
Hi, thanks for the tutorial. I have a question - maybe stupid one, but... - if it should works on M2NPV, should it also work on my M2N-MX (nForce 430)? I have many problems with it, and I haven't solved them yet. Lord Xenu
On mine works perfect. Have you setted correct permissions for it? I used Kext Helper to install the kext. Should I perform "diskutil repairpermissions /" command?

Mäcen
I have done an installation on the same motherboard. I used iAtkos v7 10.5.7. Chameleon v2, DSDT, AppleDecrypt, Voodoo 9.7 Kernel, Disabler, OHR, nForce ATA/SATA. After install I used the nForce LAN driver, Azalia Audio and MacVidia 1.0.81 to get resolution change (no CI/QE).
