I haven't really been staying current with the news about EFI & OSx86, all I know is that someone somehow has emulated EFI on PC's so no more kernel hacking is required.

Is that true, and what kind of hardware does this require (I'd love to try it, but on my old PC I have an i845G chipset and SSE2)?

My computer is a Gigabyte P35 DS3L. I used the Kalyway 10.5.1 Distribution of Leopard... And I have the Apple's Stock Vanilla Kernel and I am using EFI Emulation. I am able to do all updates and everything works 100 percent. It is more compatible with more closer hardware u have to apple stuff. I myself have an intel P35 and ICH9 Chipsets.
