halfempty
Hi everyone, I've been using osx on x86 for a while now, but i saw this http://forum.osx86project.org/index.php?showtopic=5053. I understand what he means, but when i try this it's not working. I have an ATI Radeon 9550 256 AGP card, and edited the info.plist, added my device id, saved it, rebooted, then tried safe boot and loaded the kext and rebooted again. QE is still not supported. I was wondering if anyone have been having similar problems with their ATI Radeon 9550's and if (and how!) they managed it. cheers halfempty Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/8294-ati-radeon-9550/ Share on other sites

supermegatron
Mine didnt work at first. What fixed it for me was removing all the other device ids and just leaving mine. What device i.d. did you use? cheers halfempty Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/8294-ati-radeon-9550/#findComment-52888 Share on other sites
39thRonin
I found that using a single device id usually works for most people. The best, and most accurate way to get your device id is via XP's device manager. I would not count on someone else's id - even though they may have the same card - as being the one you need to use. If you search these forums you'll find countless examples of folks have the "exact" card and one works while another does not...
