I was not able to load 1099 build natively, stuck with the UUID error and restart screen, 1111 is definately the way to go

I have had complete success with 1111 patched with Jas 4.2

My Xbench from 10.4.1 to 10.4.3 went from 56 to 59

(NOTE I got a very high XBench of >135 first time I ran it, was very excited(!) but unable to duplicate it, now consistently get 59 which is around where the 10.4.1 build with the 10.4.3 upgrade patch sat at)

dual internal hard drives

10.4.3 1111 w/ Jas 4.2b patch on 80gb 5400rpm seagate momentous

*For helping others: burned on dvd+r using nero; disabled legacy USB in dell bios (this was left like this from when trying 1099 build, don;t know if it needs it for this build); popped dvd in and it loaded automatically with no problems to blank drive (partitioned thru disk utilities)

** the downloaded dmg and converted iso and patched iso passed the checksums

Hi,

I have just installed 10.4.3 with JAS patch 4.2b on a Dell 9400 2.16G (T2600), 2G Ram, with GeForce GO 7800. HDD is a SATA 100G drive. Booted the install DVD and partitioned the HDD just as you said, and 10.4.3 installed without fuzz. Graphics resolution is still at 1024x768 and I have not been able to get to 1920x1200. No sound. It says iTunes has expired. Will be trying the other features soon.
