Everything worked out fine, but the moment I wanted to boot the kernel paniced and i am new to this whole thing so I have no idea what to do. First my system: Gigabyte M68SM-S2 (NVIDIA nForce 630a) Athlon X2 BE-2300 1 GB RAM Asus 7300GT Silent (256MB) HDD on IDE as Slave DvD on IDE as Master I know that the chipset is brandnew and not testet, but that's what this thing is all about - Now the Panic: (Hobe this makes sense for anyone) " Debugger called: <panic> ... Backtrace terminated-invalid frame pointer 0 com.apple.Geforce(5.1.6)@..... ... com.apple.NVDAResman(5.1.6)@.... " I left out a few numbers as I think they are not that relevant, but I can copy them any time. ;-) I think the 7300GT is the problem. Maybe I need the right .kext or something. Plese help me? Korrupted Posted January 17, 2008 Share Posted January 17, 2008 You need to remove all the device ids out of one of those nvidia kexts(I forgot which, sorry), then add in just your Geforce Dev/Vendor IDs.
