bestman50
Hello, I'm still kind of knew to the mac OS X. My questions is: do I use the text editor or the terminal to edit the kext files? still trying to get EQ/Core support working on my Acer 5672WLMi. also will this fix the DVD playback? I tried the method posted but it didn't work, system is still working. THX bestman50
westwaerts
you can edit them in texteditor, terminal you can use for replacing, repairing permissions even editing ( i think). better is to use plisteditor for editing and kexthelper to install them on your system, that does the permission thing for you. but you must know what you edit, so be careful or reinstall waits for you.
