alvin777
Hi. Supposing I booted on iAtkos DVD then used it's Terminal (bash) to access something on my main hardisk, what command would I use? My hardisk, partitioned as MBR has a volume name of OSX and it is identified as disk0s1 Supposing on a DOS system, the DVD was D: What would be the equivalent in Terminal of the DOS's command C: to get access to the C: drive Would it be the mount command? Thanks in advance. Is there a good tutorial for advanced Terminal commands?
tayklor
type: ls /Volumes/ and see what the name of your drive is, then type cd /Volumes/{the name of your drive} You are now in to your drive.
