djet
I recently found a deal for 3 GB of RAM for my Macbook (The older version not w/e the Santa Rosa Chipset.) I had 3 questions about it if any of you could help me. 1.) Will 3GB of RAM work in my Macbook? 2.) Is 3GB of RAM (unpaired, of course) better than 2GB paired? 3.) Is the place I have linked a good place to buy it from, and if not where else should I go? Here's the link! Special-K
I was also gonna buy from there. I've heard good things and all. Quick service, decent customer service, all that. But I don't know if their (OWC) brand RAM is good or not. For some reason I just don't trust it. I think I'll buy the paired Samsungs from them. djet
Well guys it took me a while to buy it and everything but I did. Just installed it and it's working great. Isn't makin much of a change in speed yet, but when i installed new RAM on my iMac it took a while to "get used to it." Thanks a bunch for the help and stuff! EDIT: Well I got on WoW (casual player) right after and was dissapointed by my 20 FPS. That's what it was before RAM. Well, after I posted, I went back and saw it had jumped to 30 and is running a lot more smoother.
