Amuso
Hi, Thought I would ask if anyone happened to have a print board from a defective drive. I need a working PCB from a Seagate 250GB 7200.8 IDE drive. It MUST be the 7200.8 model. The print board is removed by unscrewing 6 torx screws from the drive, and has the following digits printed into the underside : 100354297 REV A. If you happened to have such a board/drive you do not need, please PM me. ~pcwiz
I found your drive model on eBay here. That one is the only one on eBay right now but it costs $153 which is considerably expensive if you just want the PCB board. But I did find this UK site that has the PCB board you want for sale here. And its somewhat cheaper than buying the entire drive but its not too cheap. Amuso
Thanks! Appriciate it. I am keeping an eye on eBay to see if something cheaper comes along. Good link to keep for parts there in the UK Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/80178-seagate-print-board-wanted/#findComment-572417 Share on other sites
nagal
I think I have that exact same hard drive. I will check when I get home and if the price is right I will be willing to part with it. Amuso
Thanks, but I am not sure if a SATA board will work on an IDE drive. There seems to be more of these poping up on eBay so I am getting a little bit more hope...
