ATI Xpress 200 mac os x driver

finally managed to install leo, only one problem the video driver this is all i need a lil' video driver for my ATI Xpress 200. or just a patch to set a higher resolution on my display (1280*1024) if anyone has a clue or idea please post it here

I had a Radeon 9200 and used a Callisto_b008 driver (I think it works on MOST ATI cards.) Try it at your risk.

Be sure to read the readme, it's really helpful.

 

Also, if I remember correctly, you have to edit the Callisto.kext's info.plist so you change the ALLmethod to TRUE instead of False. Leaving it false made my monitor completely unusable, so better double-check.

Hi Many thanks For Your Help.It Works.But It Changes Only The Resulation On MyLaptop.It Is ZV6000 And Graphic Card Ist ATI EXPRESS 200M.Now It Look Like More Better.I Try To Install Fixed Version.It Detects My Graphic Card With 16MB VRAM.But It's Better.Now I Have Problem With Video Files Playback.If You Can Help Me Please

DoiX were you able to apply the patch? i have the same ati card, but when i edit the info.plist but i could not find that key, so i dont know how to enable the ALLMethod....

Let me be clear on this....There is no way to full enable both Quartz Extreme and Core Image on the ATI x200 video chipset. What that means if you have only the most minimal of video acceleration. Depending on how powerful your CPU is you may be able to get somewhat decent video playback. You can absolutely forget about any type of 3D gaming.

Omg bro i have the same Graphics card as you man

but not a laptop its a desktop

Compaq Presario SR1834NX with-

-Motherboard manufacturer's name: ASUS A8AE-LE or

-HP/Compaq name: AmberineM-GL6E

-Base Processor- AMD Athlon 64 (V) 3500+ 2.2 GHz (what do i check??)

-Chipset-ATI Radeon Xpress 200 (X series) what do i check?

-Hard Drive-(250 GB SATA) what do i check??

Audio/Sound-Controller: (AC97 audio) (what do i check?)

-Network(Lan)-(Integrated 10/100 Base-T networking interface) (what do i check)

Which one do you think would be suitable with my case?well since you have installed it do you know all the complete list of drivers it came with?

I have iDeneb_v1.6_1058_Lite_Edition,iPC_OSx86_10_5_6_Universal_PPF5_Final,

iDeneb v1.3 10.5.5, Kalyway_10.5.2_DVD_Intel_Amd, but people are more succesfull with 10.5.6 with i deneb so i am downloading it

 

I really would love to try this OS on my pc since you guys have the same graphics card as mine...i tired with windows BS! lol oh and if not can i buy a graphics card and switch it out with my Xpress 200???
