Shrapnel
Hmm, same for me. Both iATKOS and KalyWay. VMware 6.0.2 WS, Vista x64 Ultimate, Q6600. I've tried FreeBSD, FreeBSD x64, Darwin, Win Vista x64 for vm guest types... all do the same thing... Dense
This is a known problem with all Leopard DVDs. The solution is being worked on by DFE (the original EFI bootloader creator). I am told we can expect a solution in 2-3 weeks. ffogel
as far as i can tell from your screenshot you are using the automatic installation routine, right? if you start vmware be sure to hit f8 before starting the installer (there is this 8 sec countdown), then add -v -x at the commandline and the installer will start in safe mode. that would probably help getting around your problem. please let me know if it helped. silentdragoon
Once booting into safe mode, what do you do then? I get a prompt. ffogel
exactly. just enter -x -v and hit enter. then the installation should start. mine gets stuck all the time at different points during the installation.
