mcdull
Since I only have IDE DVD on Jmicron chipset, I gave up trying to boot with my dvd. I ended up using another computer (Old P4) and install the Kalyway to my SATA drive with the vanilla kernel and ACPI (with PS/2 fix) selected. Then I move back to my workstation and it boots normally. However, in the welcome screen I lost the PS2 keyboard control. with -s option I still cannot type. Any fix that I can do with my current setup? using macdrive, the ApplePS2Controller kext should already be there. spanakorizo
there are problems with ps2 keyboard if you choose at the installation acpifix and vanilla kernel you can install without those (but choose the darwin mbr or guid loader) and install them after you boot to the system the keyboard will be ok Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/77899-kalyway-and-ps2-keyboard/#findComment-551472 Share on other sites
