evopanop
My Asus motherboard uses the Jmicron Controller, and I can't boot into either the Kalyway OR iATKOS discs. It comes up with the error "System config file '/com.apple.Boot.plist' not found" I read in one of the other threads that this most likely because of the Jmicron Controller. Is there any way around this, other than getting a new motherboard? lol Or, could the error possibly be caused by something else? Any help in these matter would be HIGHLY appreciated! Thanks in advance, everyone. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/77694-jmicron-controller/ Share on other sites

Ok, so I need to get a SATA DVD Drive or a USB DVD Drive to make this work then? Just want to clarify. Thanks for the quick response, though! raulb
This is a known issue and heavily discussed with multiple successful workarounds on this forum itself. A search would be fruitful. evopanop
Alrighty, I just ordered a Rosewill IDE to SATA Bridge from Newegg. Hopefully that'll fix my problems, and I can finally get some dual-boot goodness going on. Thanks again for all of the help.
