    Xbench & GeekBench Scores?

Wow, 4716 in Geekbench. I just downloaded it real quick and I got a 2898 in 32-bit mode. I guess that faster CPU, GPU, and extra Cache on the HDD helps a lot, eh? lol

4GB Memory Crash + Good way to test

Guys, what exactly do I do to modify my maxmem? A guide would be great! Thanks in advance.
  6. Alright, everyone, my installation of Kalyway 10.5.2 seems to be crashing quite a bit lately, and I'm not sure why... Here's what I can gather from the two most recent "CrashReporter" Log Files. The first one: The second one: It seems to me that they have to do with some sort of Wi-Fi or Wireless issue... but I have NO IDEA what. Any ideas from anyone? I'm currently using a Hawking HWUG1A USB Wireless Adapater that was reported as being able to work in Leopard. At first I had some issues with it, but now it seems to be working just fine... which is why I'm so confused as to why I'm getting these crashes. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks in advance, everyone! Edit: Also, I wasn't sure if my 4GB of memory was causing any problems... so, to be on the safe side, I went ahead and modified the boot.plist so that maxmemory=3072. After a quick reboot, max memory now successfully shows up as 3GB. I guess we'll see if that helps any. Anyone able to decipher what those crash logs mean, and maybe be able to figure out what the problems are? lol
  7. Double post, sorry. Mods, feel free to delete this thread.

    Network Pane

Well, basically, everytime I try to open the Network pane under System Preferences it freezes and I have to do a Force Quit. Any way I can fix this? Thanks in advance, everyone!

    WMP54GS V1.1

Yeah, it would be awesome if someone had a re-hosted version of that file. I'd really love to be able to get my WMP54GS working!
  10. So has anyone been able to get this adapter to work with 10.5.2? I just went out and bought one from Best Buy for like $30... Doesn't seem to want to work for me. System Profiler shows this device under USB, as a "802.11 bg WLAN" Under the description for the device it shows the following: Version: 0.01 Bus Power (mA): 500 Speed: Up to 480 Mb/sec Manufacturer: Ralink Product ID: 0x2573 Vendor ID: 0x148f Meanwhile, when I open up the HWUG1 Wireless Utility it comes up with No Device found. Any ideas anyone? Kind of upsetting that I can't get this thing to work OR my WMP54GS... *sigh*
  11. As the title states - are there any wireless network adapters that are guaranteed to work with 10.5.2? It's becoming more and more clear to me that I probably won't be able to get my WMP54GS to work with my OSX86 installation... unless someone has any idea how I can get it working. Would this particular adapter work? http://eshop.macsales.com/item/Newer%20Tec...ogy/MXP802NU2C/ It uses the Ralink RT2870 Chipset - is that Chipset functional in 10.5? Any other Wireless Adapters I should be looking at? Everything else on my setup appears to be working perfectly... I just can't get the darn Wireless to work with my WMP54GS. *sigh* Thanks in advance, everyone!

    WMP54GS

Well, guys... I've tried the search tool, looked at the threads available, and I'm STILL lost. What can I do to get this card working? I'm a complete newb at anything osx86-related. I've currently got Kalyway 10.5.2 installed on my system. Any ideas, anyone? Any and all help would be GREATLY appreciated!
  13. I've tried all of the different nvidia patches included with both Kalyway and iATKOS. None of them would even let me boot into the OS. The only way I was able to get the OS to boot up correctly was to install Kalyway with the Vanilla kernel package and no other options at all. But, after everything installs, it reboots, boots into the OS fine, and as soon as I reboot again it won't boot into the OS anymore. It gives me the errors you see above. Doesn't make sense to me at all. Why would it boot fine the first time, and then after I reboot it doesn't boot at all anymore? Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated. Sadly, I'm about at the end of my rope with this one... and am considering just putting Vista x64 back on it. *sigh* :angry2:
  14. Bump. Anyone have any idea what's going on here? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  15. Bump. Anyone have any ideas? Is there something else I can try? I've tried installing Kalyway, iATKOS v1.0i, and iATKOS v1.0i r2 several times now and none of them seem to work correctly. I've even tried all of them without any add-in packages selected other than the vanilla kernel, as well as installing them without the vanilla kernel. I just can't seem to make any of the installers work properly. The only one that got close to working was Kalyway... but after booting into it the first time, if I restart I end up with the errors that you all see above. Help. Please? lol
