Badaxe 2 owners - I need urgent help

I've just bought this mobo (2nd hand), but it didn't come with the said adapter.  My PSU only has a 4 pin (2x2) P4 connecter, which according to the instruction manual, is OK as long as I use the adapter :censored2:

 

Now, I have AN adapter which takes a 8pin (2x4) from the PSU and puts it out to 2 4pin (2x2) - presumably for dual CPUs.  I can re-wire this to MAKE the adapter.

 

Can someone describe how the adapter reconfigures the wires, or possibly upload a pic?

 

Any help will be much appreciated - I'd love to get this thing up and running

To be clear - I need to make an adapter to go from the 4pin CPU 12v rail to an 8pin

 

This adapter comes with the mobo (but not with mine) - I need to know what it does - how the wires get reconfigured

 

Really hope this makes sense

Thanks for this - as it turns out, my problems were bigger than a simple cable

 

2 pins on the CPU socket were down - repaired one, but the other was to bent to repair - had a good go though

 

It's a dark christmas eve for me
