10.5.1 kalyway ps2 keyboard don't work!

maybe it would work with an adapter to usb but now i don't have

either a usb keyboard ...so what can i do for now?

i need to test the 8800gt kexts badly but i can't fix permissions cause no keyboard!!

could i fix permissions without keyboard?? (from diskutil i think it's not only this)

the P5K premium has only 1 ps2 port (somebody said connect another mouse in ps2 port will solve problem)

even in single user mode there is no keyboard

cause there was a solution like this:

kextunload /System/Library/Extensions/ApplePS2Controller.kext/Contents/PlugIns/ApplePS2Keyboard.kext

kextload /System/Library/Extensions/ApplePS2Controller.kext/Contents/PlugIns/ApplePS2Keyboard.kext

but i can't write even in single user!

anything to try for now...? ;)

install without choose vanilla kernel and acpi_fix

(but choose your darwin loader)

and after the installation ps2 keyboard works

then you can boot always with vanilla or replace the normal mach_kernel with vanilla's

and from the dvd install manually the acpi_fix

ps2 keyboard will work after reboot

confirming, worked for me. i tried first part and installed without vanilla kernel and acpi_fix. PS2 work all the way.

why should i install vanilla kernel and acpi_fix anyway? better performance?
