icefart13 Posted December 22, 2007 Share Posted December 22, 2007 i have formatted the drive to ntfs with the gparted cd. when i put the disk in and press enter it sits there for a while saying loading darwin then flashes a white mac screen then just restarts the pc and even with it displaying events. papillon68 Posted December 22, 2007 Share Posted December 22, 2007 leave the installation DVD in, press F8 and when you get the boot: type rd=disk0s1 (if you installed Leopard in the first ide drive) Does it boot now ? I'm really hoping you can help me out with this, I am having the same problem with the flashing apple logo and then the computer restarts, only when I press f8 and type in -v cpus=1 it doesn't do anything except restart my computer again, i've also tried other things to type in and nothing works it just restarts, please help! Wantsanhackintosh Posted May 19, 2010 Share Posted May 19, 2010 Hi, I'm not using iATKOS, I'm using iPC but still have similar problem. In my BIOS, I'm unable to change the SATA Controllers to AHCI. It is defaulted in RAID Mode. Any help would be very appreciated! Thanks so much!
