i dono if i posted this in the right place but i have a similar problem. except i got my harddrive partitioned with win 7 and iATACKOS v7 on the second part, i have it installed except i can't boot to the mac but i can to the windows, when i try to boot to the mac it shows the white apple logo for a breif instant and then restarts and it shows bios and it shows the the mac logo again that says press any key to enter the boot options

btw theres the chemeon on the boot screen

i know, no double posting, but ice, do you iATAKCOS v7, thats supports amd processer which is what most laptops are now days i think (or atleast toshibas and compaqs i believe) email me if you have any more questions

When you're at the boot prompt for the iATKOS Install DVD type -v cpus=1 and press enter.

Report back.

i have formatted the drive to ntfs with the gparted cd. when i put the disk in and press enter it sits there for a while saying loading darwin then flashes a white mac screen then just restarts the pc and even with it displaying events.

Thanks Krishna21,

"-v cpus=1" worked for me!

i've been sitting at this computer for at least a half hour trying to figure this out! haha i'm 16. on my friends Asus CG
