Jadedknight
Ok, when I format with GP, I don't see a menu for 'MBR'. I format the partition as FAT32 and then set the boot flag.. but I can't get Darwin to load. Am I doing something wrong?
bofors
I couldn't see how to format a disk with MBR partition table with G-parted either. You can use Disk Utility instead, it is on every OS X install disk under the Utilities main menu item.
Jadedknight
Does this mean I have to download an older image like Tiger? What if I have a leaopard disk already thats meant for my Mac?
bofors
Does this mean I have to download an older image like Tiger? No, you can use a Leopard installer disk. What if I have a leaopard disk already thats meant for my Mac? That's fine if you can get your disk drive into your Mac.
