SMCentral
You do have USB Mouse and Keyboard? If so, you may need to reinstall and make sure you've selected the right drives for your USB

wigworm
easy solution: disable usb mouse and keyboard in your bios.
justvisiting
you might need to change your BIOS usb setting for "legacy support" -- enable or disable and test.
shmigadiga
if i disable usb support then i cant even boot into leopard to install. it asks you to press any key to continue on boot and then loads the cd and goes to the main install screen and then no mouse or keyboard. zuz_242
got similiar prob at install. read all!! (80 at that time) pages of the amd thread and found the amd/leo wiki at http://osx86.wikidot.com/ . i finally got it running, but i am not sure what fixed it i copied /ApplePS2Controller.kext as described in the wiki and experimented with various ps2/usb kb/mouse combinations. somehow it worked. good luck ps: i still got the problem in leo if i want to have my (working) kb recognized by osx ("press key right of strg.."). but i can live with this
