GFree
I didn't write this, but I thought it was worth posting. It's an exceedingly tongue-in-cheek review of XP, from the POV of a user with Vista proceeding to "upgrade" to XP. He seems pretty pleased - virtually everything about this new OS is better than its predecessor. http://dotnet.org.za/codingsanity/archive/...windows-xp.aspx (FYI - I run Vista and am reasonably happy, but I can't say I disagree a whole lot). I'm using Vista atm, but I cannot say that I disagree with him Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/76454-tongue-in-cheek-review-windows-xp/#findComment-541730 Share on other sites
mrjoe
Actually, Vista has much better driver support than XP. My 82566 had to GET INSTALLED WITH A DRIVER FROM INTEL.COM in XP. Also, my graphics too! You'd think that my hard drive needed a driver.... lol jk But XP is much more responsive than Vista, and there's a difference, even on 4GB of RAM. It's much more stable too. I haven't gotten a BSOD yet. But they won't compare to OSx86 w/ internet working, oh no, they won't.
