lessew
So, my girlfriend got a virus on her Windows box, and I wanted to install OSX on it. It's a Dell 5150, and according to the HCL, should work fine. However, one thing that's extremely important to her is being able to record her TV shows. She has a PCI TV tuner. (don't remember what it is, and I'm not there atm, so I can't tell the specs yet) I was thinking of installing EyeTV. EyeTV only lists USB tuners on their site. Would it work with a PCI TV tuner? Is there another option if not? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/75856-v8-efi-and-tv-tuner/ Share on other sites
Headrush69
The majority of PCI based TV cards don't work in OS X. Not saying yours won't, but without an exact model its impossible for anyone to say with any certainty. Edit: This is the one she's got. (ATI Rio 550 PCI-E TV Card) Anyone have one working/installed? I'm guessing not, but wouldn't mind hearing if anyone has hacked it to work.
