judgedeath2
I know it'll be awhile until I can get QE/CI support for my 8600GT, but I can't even get a decent resolution! It is stuck at 1024x768, if I add "Graphics Mode"="1440x900x32" (my monitor's native res.) to my com.apple.boot.plist, it still boots in 1024x768. The only time it will change is if I use "1280x1024x32", which looks like %^@& on my monitor. Even 1280x800 would be nice (same aspect ratio as 1440x900) Also, ever since I updated iTunes to 7.5 and Quicktime to 7.3, they crash. iTunes dies about 15 seconds after opening, as does QuickTime, though it will also crash Firefox if I try to play a movie in a site. Thanks in advance. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/75730-resolutions-help-itunes-crashes/ Share on other sites

judgedeath2
Thanks for the response Crawley, but even that doesn't work! I installed it and set up a custom resolution for 1440x900 and rebooted, but it's still changes back to just 1024x768... gabycito
I have the same problem with a GMA950, the only thing worked for me: the 950 driver coming in LEO4all (using pacifist) but with some artifacts on cursor Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/75730-resolutions-help-itunes-crashes/#findComment-745483 Share on other sites
