While there are tons of online text guides, nothing covers it better than a video. I recently found an awesome video (its only about 6 min long) that covers everything to building a PC, and in little time. Forget Linux, Mac, etc. Push for people to not buy OEM systems! Of course, this is impossible for it to take off on any grand scale.. almost as impossible as Linux on the desktop (I kid, I kid).
