fuzzywasaduck2
I've been hearing that the Badaxe2 is a good contender for my purposes but has anyone else any other suggestions? Like the topic says - Maximum compatability is the priority, but I'd really like to have the 8Gb ram capacity If you can't think of a better alternative then let me hear it for the Badaxe2 Thanking you Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/75342-most-compatible-mobo-opinions-please/ Share on other sites

loybond
That's funny, I was gonna recommend one of the P5K mobos. I'm using a P5K Deluxe with success. The ethernet works out of the box, there are drivers available for the onboard wifi. I didn't have to do anything (cuz I have USB speakers, Logitech Z-10s), but at the most, you'll have to run a script for sound. Everything else works great. Very snappy performance with my Q6600 @ 4 GHz and 4 GB of RAM.
