pauℓzurrr.
The 8400,8500,8600 cards aren't supported at the moment. But you should be able to get your native monitor resolution using something like this: "Graphics Mode"-"1280x1024x32@60" You maby wanna change the @60 to something else that your monitor supports
Ichixgo
i have to enter this in the .plist file in nvinject.kext ? The 8400,8500,8600 cards aren't supported at the moment. pauℓzurrr.
No, you want to type that at boot. Right after you have chosen your osx install, keep hitting F8 till you get the prompt where you can type text.
judgedeath2
@Ichixgo: You can add "Graphics Mode"="1280x1024x32" if you add it to the Boot.plist file so you don't have to type it in every time. Anyone else know how to get other resolutions working besides 1024x768 and 1280x1024?
Caleb Gray
Those resolutions are based on the VESA standard and according to Wikipedia these are all of your options: 320x200 640x400 640x480 800x500 800x600 896x672 1024x640 1024x768 1152x720 1280x1024 1440x900 1600x1200. I'll be testing the "1440x900" on my widescreen, (and I'll bookmark this page), and fill you in on my findings.. My video card supports VESA 3.0-- but I'm not sure what OS X supports. I'll let you know! EDIT: I can confirm that it works in 10.5.1-- My monitor doesn't support 1600x1200 so someone else will have to confirm that. Good luck! (BTW: http://osx86.wikidot.com/utilities-resources "Zephyroth NVidia Universal Installer" sounds promising, but I haven't tried it yet..)
