Before I buy a Macbook I would like to try OS X Tiger or Leopard on my current laptop.

It is a IBM Thinkpad T40.

Processor: Intel Pentium M 1.5 Ghz

Memory: 1024MB DDR PC2100

Harddisk: Hitachi 30GB 4200RPM

Audio: Analog Devices AD1981A AC'97 SoundMAX Codec (Full-duplex)

Graphics: 32MB ATI Mobility RADEON 7500

I don't know which WLAN & LAN chips are used.

Is this worth a try? Or is there no hope at all?
