Brywalker
As the title says. This install is nearly flawless. The only 2 issues are ICH9R support (comes up as Generic AHCI) and full ALC888 support (I have 2 channel audio enabled through editing). Has anyone had any success yet? I have found a few things on the forum, but nothing that has actually worked.

I have found a few things on the forum, but nothing that has actually worked. Hi, I'm pretty new to the OSX86 game, although Ive messed about with Tiger in the past. I have ToH Leo installed on an Abit IP35 (not Pro or E, the middle one!) It's working like you say, although I've not managed to get the audio working yet. Network and Graphics are OK now (Marvell 88E8056 - edited kexts and Graphics 8800GTX - NVinject 0.15) Please can you post the details as to how you got your audio working, or link - I would be very grateful! Cheers, Jon.
Brywalker
http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?act...&pid=493073 I read somewhere that you have to change AppleAHCI.kext to the ICH9R device IDs and whatnot and then sleep works. I have no idea what to change, though. Anyone have more information on this?
Forceman
ICH9R works in leopard as my friend has a Intel X38 chipset and ALC888 should work fine. Set AHCI on your SATA in the bios.
Mebster
Hi, this should have been posted in Hardware. You'll get more help there on the topic. Moved.
Brywalker
Thanks. Now to clarify, this will be Leopoard. And I am talking FULL support, not Generic AHCI and HD AUDIO out.
Brywalker
Obviously no one has this hardware. Well can anyone tell me which kexts I have to edit with my Device IDs in order for it at least try to show it? Generic AHCI (null) is getting old.
