errandwolfe
Missing flash plug-in. It is great to hear that people are starting to get flash and java working right, too bad I screwed the pooch. In earlier times trying to get flash working I installed (and then uninstalled) the PPC version from macromedia.com. So, right now I have no flash at all. Could someone possibly post the current flash plug-in from 10.4.3 8F111G. You could help me out by telling me where to put it to, forgot exactly where it goes. Thanks all Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/7316-missing-flash/ Share on other sites

Thanks all I'd really like to know if the 10.4.4 flash plugin (intel version ofcourse) is updated. But alas, I am 2000 miles from my home so I am away from my osx86 but have acquired the Flash Player 8.5 alpha plugin which I havent tested yet....\ installer uninstaller please move your existing flash plugin to a safe place before trying this as I have not tried 8.5 yet I'd really like that 10.4.4 intel Flash Player.plugin in /Library/Internet Plug-Ins (hint, hint) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/7316-missing-flash/#findComment-45636 Share on other sites
errandwolfe
Thanks for the effort, but Firefox (latest build from Mozilla wiki) does not recognize it. Still says it is missing the plug-in. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/7316-missing-flash/#findComment-45699 Share on other sites
Zero
Take your Tiger 10.4.3 Installtion DVD, put it into DVD-Rom. Use Pacifist to open /DVD/System/Installtion/Packages/Essential.mpkg, extract all the file in the "/Library/Internet Plugins/" to the same path in your OSX86 hard drive. This will replace all your plugin with the original version from 10.4.3 X86. I think this way will solve your problem.
