jake123 Posted November 20, 2007 Share Posted November 20, 2007 I have no idea what it is. I'm on a Dimension 9100 with Uphucks 1.3 (the large one) DVD.... I finish the installation and I just get a flashing/blinking _ when it passes my BIOS.... Does anyone have any idea what this could be. I have two drives a SATA one and an IDE... I installed it on both drives and got this error. I think it might be the MOBO because when i choose the drive to boot off of, it doesnt load the drive when i choose it. AldousHxlE Posted November 20, 2007 Share Posted November 20, 2007 Most likely this means the bootloader is missing from the installation. Do you happen to have the Leopard TOH RC2 install disc? There's a script included with this disc that can help you rebuild the bootloader. Is there a way for me to boot off the uphuck DVD go into terminal and check to see if the "file" or what ever i need for the bootloader is there?
