mremulator Posted January 19, 2006 Share Posted January 19, 2006 Basically, I'm running 10.4.3 8F1111g pre-patched with Jas' 4.2b patch natively. My CPU is an FX55, motherboard MSI K8N Neo Plat 2 (Nforce3), 2GB RAM and OSX is installed on a seperate 300GB ATA HD. It installed perfectly and is working better than I expected. However, is there anyway of checking to see if I could iprove performance further by replacing certain kernels with others to match my hardware more accurately? In addition, my HD read/write benchmarks seem way off. Again, is there any way of checking to see if I need the IDE patch? I don't want to my installation up!
