fustyler
I just ran geekbench and it tells me the Leopard is running in 32bit mode. I have not used any boot switch to make it 32bit, and I thought by default it would be 64bit given my hardware. Is there anyway to force it into 64bit mode? fustyler
Is there anyway to verify if I'm running 64bit? I read on a post that Chess should have optoin for 32bit if it's already running 64bit, but I don't see this option...actually i just ran Chess and found that under "kind" in activity monitor it says 64bit.So it is running in 64bit mode.actually just found out it is actually running in 64bit. run chess and under activity monitor it says 64bit under "kind". exscape
The option "Run as 32-bit" shows up when you show info (cmd+i) on a 64-bit/32-bit combo app.

rathalos
seems like there are only 1 thing that are running 64bit in my mac.... httpd... thats really quite sad... and they calculated the VMsize totally wrongly... my httpd proc says the vmsize is 2.58Gb... wow.... EDIT: The second picture is something funny when i was goofing around with activity monitor... check out the shared memory size of my safari... guess i'm running a raid server the size of one 100 storey building...
