0. I have pluggen my HDD on a compatible computer. (with mac compatible PC -i945dg motherboard)

1. I have installed "10.5 leopard Toh dvd" on this another computer.

2. I have plugged my hdd on my computer.

3. "toh dvd" must be in cdrom (on my computer)

4. now can i running leopard on my computer.

 

PS: My cdrom is IDe, and hdd is sata.

PS2: i can't booting less "toh dvd", toh dvd must be in dvdrom on every booting.

not yet, I got an PCI wireless card so I don't need my NIC card, right now the only two things that doesn't works are the video gma3100 and the NIC, AUDIO, IDE, SATA, USB, FireWire are fully working.

noob question, but where do i put this kext? IOATAFamily.kext/Contents/Plugins or in Extensions directly?

 

 

Thanks to enb14 :( ..... and helping you: Yes, you do replace directly upon Extensions folder.

 

You should not forget to delete Extensions.mkext to be rebuilt on next boot.

 

PS: I use extensively OSX86Tools and PLIST Edit shareware .... they are tricky, quick and easy. ;)

Here's the ATA kext guys, I'll post more guides for this motherboard as soon as I make it to work.

You should pick the iATKOS v4i .... it has all ICH versions, but it didn`t have your 11ab:6101, so i had to copy/paste from yours. I wanna test and tell you the results back.
