Other than the ToH RC2 release, along with mac.nubs Leopard NVInject (for the 8800 of course), do I need anything else to be able to run with sound and networking?

The P5K Deluxe WiFi uses Realtek and Yukon network devices, with Realtek HD audio.

2x SATA HDD's, 1x SATA DVD drive.

If someone can point me to the drivers I need (and they work), I'll happily throw them a gift via PayPal

The script you need to get sound and network working is available at

This is what I used to get ToH working on my Asus P5k-e.

I have the same problem there were no way to install leopard on my p5k deluxe

I tried with de brazil mac version and the toh version.

with the toh version I could install in a albatron I845. but I can make it work on my pc

I successfully install leopard using flat image but not get builtin network card & audio working. My motherboard is Asus P5K. Anybody have the drivers?

Search for asap18's threads, he released drivers for that board, and a member posted the link.

"I have the same problem there were no way to install leopard on my p5k deluxeI tried with de brazil mac version and the toh version.with the toh version I could install in a albatron I845. but I can make it work on my pc"Sorry I must correct myself I wanted to say that I Can´t make it work on my pc.it install all the files, but when i have to restart and in that part the tutorial seid " Do not boot into leopard yet!!!" when you must start the setup program in verbose mode (-v), none storage device seem to be recognized. no pen drive, formated in fat 32 named PATCHER as the tutorial indicate.no files in "/Volumes". what I´m doing wrong ?and I try both version installing from the very beginning and try to update from tiger.I follow the guide posted by nateleav76.same help ?any ideas ?please I wanna have leopard.

A couple of guys on this forum have P5K Premiums working (exact same HW as Deluxe), so it's entirely possible. I'm installing tonight, I'll post a guide for my setup once complete.
I´ll be wainting ancious for you guide to be post.did you have sucess ?

I Also have this ASUS P5K deluxe, and installed ToH Release on it.

Also applied the EFI patch on it.

Just bought me a SATA DVD, wich works for install then.

Could 'nt get it to work on Jmicron

Just searching for soms sound drivers now ;)

Looks like im in the same boat as everyone else, Just searching for audio drivers for the p5k deluxe :)

Had those from the start, here you go:

http://www.mediafire.com/?7jmyobt4xtx

It contains a sub-folder called p5ke, in there you will find drivers for your Deluxe (E and Deluxe have the same components). "AppleAzaliaAudio.kext" is the one you need for audio.

Thanks found those in another topic somewhere.

If i could find my linux disk i would attempt to do a codec dump and use the HDA patchers.

Other than that looking pretty good.

Which Nvidia drivers are you using currently? I'm wondering whether some perform better than others, but have only tried mac.nubs NVInject (8800 listed as UNKNOWN NVIDIA in system, although has correct RAM).

I used NVinject.

Followed this guide. http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=72493

Do you know how to get the system to see the correct amount of Vram. Should be seeing 768mb.

Mac.nub's NVinject installer lets you choose which version you have, it's very easy to install. We have the same monitor - good choice :¬)

ToH gets kernel panic, I readed over there that the brazil mac have a patch for the p35 chipset but I just can intall the patch no devices found in volumes path

I used a brazilmac disk and installed 10.5, then upgraded to 10.5.1.

Used this guide.

Things i remember doing to get this to work.

Disabled jmicron in the bios

Set sata to AHCI in bios

Had to use a USB dvd drive/ or a sata one.

Because the jmicron is disabled, installed to sata harddrive.

Bought a USB keyboard, my ps2 one didnt work when it came to the stage of entering in the user details.

As for audio drivers i used the ones further up. Might try and get the applehda ones working tonight, if im successful i will post my codec dump here

hi! thank you for your quick answer, but I read the guide, and I have 2 more question, if you dont mind.

1.- did you use the Kalyway cd ? what for ? and where do you get it ?

2.- where did you get the pc_efi 5.2 ? I have one patch that came with the file I download. and I allready unzip it on my pendrive.

in fact I have anotherone that have been modified by sameone here in the forum. for p5k3.

actually the problem I´m having is that after I install the leopard when you have to run the install program in verbose mode, I get into de /volumes path I don´t have any device.

no hd, no usb, no anything.

so I can install the patch.

I try do it without entering in verbose mode, I meen like making the installation again and entering the terminal from the gui mode. there, I can see every partition of the 4 hd plugged to the pc, and the pendrive Named "PATCHER", as I read overthere in this forum.

but I get a kernel panic

the Tiger instalation natively work perfect.

I´m getting mad

Insalenymad!!

Thank you very much for your cooperation.

Good luck with AppleHDA, would be very sweet if you got it working.

I used the Kalyway disk to prepare the harddrive. It can be found on PB.

Someone posted the link to pc_efi 5.2 in the guide. I think its a few pages in.

Where/ how did you get your brazil disk. I go a copy from bittorrent so it might be different from a patched retail disk.

Good luck with AppleHDA, would be very sweet if you got it working.

Yeah it didnt work. The devices were found but no sound. I did some digging around and saw that the guy writing the driver had some issues with alc883.

hi, did you get the sound working with AppleAzaliaAudio.kext from P5K.zip/p5ke/files/ ?

that is the last component i need that is yet not working.
