rawmassen Posted December 6, 2007 Author Share Posted December 6, 2007 hi, did you get the sound working with AppleAzaliaAudio.kext from P5K.zip/p5ke/files/ ? that is the last component i need that is yet not working. Yes they worked for me, although it doesn't show up in 'More Info' dialog. System Preferences -> Sound will let you know (its all greyed out if the driver isn't working). Try re-installing and deleting cache with the -f flag at Darwin boot prompt, it should be working fine for you. Also, make sure it's set to enabled in the BIOS (High Definition Audio under On-board Devices). I was wondering also, do i need to install the AppleAHCIPort.kext from the P5K.zip as my install is working for now. does it fix performance or something ? mots Posted December 6, 2007 Share Posted December 6, 2007 ok thanks. i'll try that tonight. confirmed sound is working with my p5k deluxe using that p5k.zip azalia kext. since i have a p5k deluxe with 2 nics, my second network card worked out of the box. so everything is fine.
