lordeath Posted November 13, 2007 Share Posted November 13, 2007 I have the same mobo, I get sound working for a while in Leopard with skipyretard ALC888 package. I think that may be some issues related to cache because since then I couldn't make it to work. I have tryed deleting /system/library/caches, /system/library/extensions/caches, /system/library/extensions.mkext, and running kextcache -k ... funllly Posted December 1, 2007 Author Share Posted December 1, 2007 My ALC888 finally work, It's work on Leopard . 10.4.X still not working. When i upgrade to Leopard . Audio still not working. But when i use AppleHDAPatcher17 and alc888.txt , it's all working. So.... if someone still work hard with this , try to upgrade to Leopard, maybe could solution it. Thanks a lot.
