BebopBlues
I think we'll have to wait until when the 8800GT is available on the Mac Pro. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/70778-driver-for-8800gt/#findComment-502195 Share on other sites

cyclonefr
shoulin : are you running Leopard ? If so, did you try to inject your vendorid/product id into NVDAResman.kext, GEFORCE.KEXT and NVDANV50HAL.kext ? And if so, how does OSX react WITHOUT any natit ? Does it boot to a black screen (screen turns off as if there were no signal) or does it display something special ? Thanks for the input. Thanks for the input. trying to use anything that esists to get 3d working it messes up and get "need to restart your system" with no video drivers, just the default it looks perfect, just only 1024 x 768 and no 3d/qi/qe support Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/70778-driver-for-8800gt/#findComment-503241 Share on other sites
