I've installed Leopard from a flat img and did not patch it with BrazilMac patch instead I used EFI Bootloader and it work as if it's a real Mac.

I only have to install the kexts for Audio, Graphic, and ICH9R.

Here are some screenshot.

Reboot, Boot without problem.

Booting to Leopard with Windows XP bootloader Chain0 method.

Partition made to full size by mergePartition cmd.

So if anyone's using the same specification as me.

You can run leopard perfectly!

For SATA to work you'll have to set to ACHI mode in BIOS.

Here are the kexts I use.

Realtek 889a Kext

ICH9R

X1950XT Leopard 0.2 Installer.pkg

Hope this thread help solving some of your problems.

This is my 2nd day using Mac and I'm glad that all is well.

Day 1 was horrible unable to boot, SATA not working etc.

I think it's your graphic card.
Whoh. Ok, does this mean that you're running an unhacked version of Leopard? That you can install software updates without a problem? Can I create a "flat image" (still not entirely sure what this means) from my official leopard disk?
Well. I convert flat image to a disk image so I could restore onto a partition then I installed darwin and efi bootloader v5.1I'm running 10.5.1 right now :)Look at my signature

No idea why.

My xbench score falls :)

Changed my GFX from 1900XTX to 8800GTS 640MB

  • 3 weeks later...

Just installed Kalyway version on a Gigabyte DQ6 with an E6600, 8800 GTX.

I had troubles with iATXOS when the nic would just stop working after rebooting a few times.

With Kalyway I was afraid the Marvall nic wasn't supported as it wasn't an option during install, but it works as here I am (although seeming slower than iATXOS version, maybe driver isn't as good).

The 8800GTX isn't perfect as it isn't displaying all the RAM.

I used 1 drive wiped clean for OSX and used MBR. Already had XP, then Vista installed and using Vista bootloader. Then installed OSX and booted to Vista and used EASY BCD to change and add OSX option.

All 3 boot great now.

Going to see if I can't get my X-FI Soundblaster working...

Xbench 138.02 (disk was 71.91?! on WD RE YS(enterprise) 250 GB SATA AHCI enabled in bios. Something might be amiss there.

EDIT: nic failed again. grr.
