Perian

I been searching high and low for betas of perian that solves the problems i'm having

 

When I play mkv files the audio is garbled but it plays fine in VLC but I need it to work with QT so i can play mkv's in Front Row.

 

Anyone has a version that solves this or know of another program that will let me play mkv's in FR? I also have mpg's with AC3 audio that doesn't work in QT

I have over 120 high def mkv's, thats well over 600gb worth of stuff, no way i can convert all those files

try changing the audio in perian system prefs and set it to stereo instead of dolby.

I reinstalled and have the same problem but notice something very strange. I get audio pops and glitches in quicktime, but NOT in front row
