themacmeister
Just found this obscure delight at Softpedia - http://mac.softpedia.com/get/Drivers/PCI-Extreme.shtml This allows you to patch OSX 10.4.x to use any PCI graphics card supported by the OS (instead of only AGP). That is, if you have an old P4 with a PCI RagePro128 in it, you can patch the OS, and get a hackintosh running on it. It is a PPC binary, but I am (almost) sure it will work on intel hackintoshes. And it's FREE!!! PS. There is a freely available BIOS update for the 7300GT. Has anyone tried this on a Hackintosh, with Apple's default drivers? sidolin
I'm almost 100% sure it won't work. Its for PPC, not x86, and its about hardware, so rosetta doesn't help. And Osx on ppc always supported pci graphics cards, this is only to enable qe on pci cards that already work.
