xiberia Posted January 15, 2006 Share Posted January 15, 2006 Hi all, this is sort-of a newbie question, so don't laugh I installed osx86 on an 8 gig hard-drive (yup, an actual ancient 8 gig hard-drive) and after some prodding and poking it works fine. Trouble is, I'm running out of room (doh!). Is it possible to "clone" the hard-drive, boot sectors and all, and put that on a larger one? Or would it be easier just to install X on the new drive (probably, except I'd have to search out all the kext modifications etc again) Any software you would recommend? supermegatron Posted January 15, 2006 Share Posted January 15, 2006 carbon copy cloner doesnt work well on osx86 open up apps and go to utilities open disk utility.
