Update problem from 10.4.8->10.4.10

Ok so i install JaS 10.4.8 install and attempt to update to 10.4.10 using the 10.4.10 Mac OS X delta update

 

but after i reboot it wont load. the error message says:

 

 

i have gotten this when running the install in VMware and natively, this is the second install that this has happened to me on, the first install i had everything installed and working properly, the second install was a completely fresh install nothing done to it at all.

 

anybody have any idea?

Well This is very simple lol you did a major jump lol, u cant update from 10.4.8 to 10.4.10 on a Hackintosh my friend you need to take baby steps first 10.4.8 then 10.4.9 then 10.4.10 and im figuring your not using the known update guides on this website here my friend check the OSx86 Installation Tread and see what they have to say. It worked for me so hopefully it will work for you alright. ~1~

thanks ill look into that, i was thinking that i should try going to 10.4.9 first then go to 10.4.10, so ill try that next. all the 10.4.10 releases that i have gotten just wont install, they get almost all the way through then tell me there was a problem with the install and that i have to reboot, any idea on that one?

I would try leaping right to the Mac.nub 10.4.10 install... Forget the baby steps, you need too many baby steps to cover the distance, and you know baby's are very instable...

Did you go to software update in Mac? If you did thats why.
