Prolific123
Hello everybody,I'm getting these annoying "Application Launch Faiulur" dialogs and I dont' really know why. I need your help. It happened the first time when I wanted to install Office 2004. Then it happened a second time when I wanted to install my EPSON printer R220 drivers/applications. I'm not very knowledgable on this subject so help would be much appreciated. Thanks. sorry, what the dialog box reads is:"Application Launch Failure"The application "Epson" (in this case) could not be launched because of a shared library error: "<Projector Resources><Projector Resources><CarbonLib> <>" Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/68560-shared-library-error/ Share on other sites
macjedimatt
I am using the same distro on my hackintosh with the same problem. Anyone have any ideas? I am using an Intel SSE2 CPU if that helps. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/68560-shared-library-error/#findComment-513024 Share on other sites

DJConvict
Yes it is a known bug in Kalyway release. Download these fixes, replace old files and everything should work just fine. Keychain Fixes CFMSupport Keychain files are for problems with MSN Messenger, Apple Mail etc... skavenger0816
I have the same problem. Can anyone reupload the files from previous posting? Or has anyone another solution to fix this error in 10.5.5? JeanLuc7
Hi One of the files in the directory /System/Library/CFMSupport seems to be corrupt. do you have access to another Mac (same OS version) where it works? Solution: Just delete /System/Library/CFMSupport and copy the working version from another Mac. Remember to repair permissions after that.
