DanOMan
I ended up just getting the GeForce 7300GT 256mb PCIe video card. I plugged it into my computer and Leopard detected it right away. No patch or anything! Full QE and CI support, as well as rotation. I know that's not a solution for everyone, but if it is an option for you, I would do it. Especially since it is only $35 after a mail-in rebate at newegg.com In any case, I hope we can still find a solution for the GMA900. dataloss
If your computer has an SSE2 Processor, the Kalaway drivers will not work (just gets stuck at grey loading screen happened to me. If your computer has an SSE3 Processor, then Kalaway should work. I've never tested it though. Theoretically it should work. roflcopterguy
Ok Everyone, Me and B666 were messing around last night with my GMA900, it is on a Dell Inspiron 2200. We Got It Working Well kinda. It says that core image is hardware accelerated and that both quartz extreme and quzrtzGL are supported. I think that this is a great step in the right direction but alot of the qe/ci things that should be enabled arent. My guess is that it is a FB issue. I have tried with both a 900 framebuffer from a JaS DVD and the 950 one. The way that I got this working can be found here Here. BTW, Joe was close, you edit the 915 kext to look at the 950 resources Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/68289-leopard-driver-for-gma900-915gl/page/2/#findComment-512719 Share on other sites

mercurysquad
Guys, sorry for not putting this online earlier .. David Elliott has given us this enabler kext to be used with the stock GMA950 kexts on leopard. It forces the GMA950 driver to work with GMA900, so you don't need any hacked kexts anymore (only the old version 4.2.20.28 intel framebuffer kext is required). This is only for dev.id 0x8086 0x2592. If you need other devIDs let me know.
