manitoba98 Posted October 28, 2007 Share Posted October 28, 2007 Has anyone bought a new Mac (since October 26) with Leopard preinstalled? Has that worked smoothly? Most of the issues I've heard about have been upgrade-related (particularly with APE), so I was hoping to hear from someone with a brand new iMac, Macbook, or whatever. Turbo50t Posted November 11, 2007 Share Posted November 11, 2007 I just bought the iMac 24", but it came with Tiger installed. I called Apple and got the Leopard DVD and installed it and everything is great. I have heard that some people like you who got it preinstalled are having issues, but a clean reinstall fixes the problem. It was probable a snafoo at the time they did the install at the factory. Definitely a lot faster than my old Macbook.
