Anuj Posted January 13, 2006 Share Posted January 13, 2006 Hey people i was tryingall this stuff out and it all just wouldnt work on mt rig ... then suddenly a friend of mine did it and i saw it.. man ... i just bought a pentium 4 HT 3.2 GHZ with 512 mb ram and an intel 915 GAV mobo and 80 GB seagate ide HDD (this is the exact same setup as mt friends ) ... and wallah what do I get for all my efforts of researching .....ERROR ON INSTALLING ESSENTIALS ....PEASE RESTART .... i have 2 install disks oe is 10.4.1 ad othe ris 10.4.3 ... hate this {censored} ! PLEASE HELP SOEMEONE GIVE SOME HELP ... im CRUSHED ... DiaboliK Posted January 14, 2006 Share Posted January 14, 2006 did you apply the appropriate patches to the disks before you tried firing it up. check out maxxuss' homepage. all you would need i believe is the anti tpm patches and possibley the no nx patch also. I'd recommend talking to your friend, he would know more than us in this circumstance. Screaming and expletives solve little, too, btw. Anuj Posted January 15, 2006 Author Share Posted January 15, 2006 its cool people got it running ... it was the dvd drive ... i used my friends drive on the same system and wallah...yeah baby this {censored} is sooo cool... hmmm i have another question i have installed flash MX ...works grat and some other stuff which also works grat .. but photoshop gives me a low RAM error i have 512 on the machine... Also i installed form a disk with the sse3 to sse2 patch enabled ...wheras i just found out that my machine has sse3 ... what is a good way to remove that patch ....
