maticks
I dont know if this is a stupid question but i do remember someone saying supported cards wont work or something. But I've got OSX working nicely now but the graphics are slow. I had a look at the system profiler and the video card appears to have Core Image: Not Supported Quartz Extreme: Not Supported I've got an Nvidia 6600VTD 256Mb but i cant seem to find much information on this my processor also supports SSE3. Any suggestions or anyone want to tell me im an idiot Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/682-core-image-and-quartz-extreme/ Share on other sites

cyrana
That post won't help his 6600 get supported. As the other person said, we have to wait for drivers to get released someday. I bought the M/B a friend suggested and it just works off the hacked dev kit boot dvd. cyrana
Well, I'm just using the VESA mode or whatever on my laptop. It does make the graphics a bit slow, but I manage 1400x1050x32 at least. I'm pondering doing the same as you, though. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/682-core-image-and-quartz-extreme/#findComment-4434 Share on other sites
