Do i either reformat or do i upgrade from 10.4 to 10.5? Synaesthesia Posted October 26, 2007 Share Posted October 26, 2007 Well if it's a real mac, you can probably upgrade and it should work fine. Especially seeing as you formatted so recently. Or try archive and install, which clean installs but moves all your files into a backup directory. realfolkblues Posted October 27, 2007 Share Posted October 27, 2007 I did a full reformat on my girlfriends computer but she was haveing problems so thats why. It worked great. I did a archive install on my moms macbook pro and that worked well also no problems. I have not tryed upgrading yet.
