Hi everyone. I thought it would be nice to open a topic about features that appeared in Leopard Beta versions, but haven't been included in the GM release such as the Time Machine Airport Disk feature or the Star Wars-like-iChat hologram effect or even the 3D Side Dock among others. That's why it would be fine if other members post their favorite features they were looking forward to which didn't make their way to Leopard and maybe we could collect How-To's to re-enable/-implement these Beta features in the final version or things like how to get the 2D dock on the bottom and stuff like that.

How do you think about this? I think it's time to start!

Here are some other features I remember, Apple had "promised" for Leopard:

1. resolution-independent GUI (which finally seems to be available to developers only)

2. full r/w ZFS support

3. I don't know about this one, but I was hoping for NTFS r/w support (although I stick with the Paragon NTFS for Mac Beta for now)

I can't think of other features right now, just go ahean and complete the list... to be continued :(

EDIT: I see that johan had been quicker with point #1.

As described in this thread, changing the 3D-Dock to the new 2D Dock (which you normally get when putting the Dock to the side of your screen) also changes the Menu Bar into a non-transparent bar.

I am a bit disappointed as I thought there would be more people who missed one or another feature in the final release of Leopard. C'mon guys, just post what you miss and what can be done to re-enable your favorite feature!
