I bought a Wacom bamboo fun tablet, and I know that it works well, but only in the pc in Windows, because I can't get it work in Mac os x. It's really weird, because when I tested it without installing the drivers, it works (the pen and the mouse works as a mouse), but then, when I installed drivers, the pen and the mouse stop working. The light of the tablet keeps iluminated, but nothing works. I tested all drivers downloaded from the wacom site, but the pen and the mouse does not work at all in leopard 10.5.2 I did everything, I repair permissions, reinstalled several times, but nothing seems to work in the system preferences, when the tablet is connect, appears the "ink" icon... but the pen and the mouse doesn't work Anybody can help me? thanx in advice my pc: intel core 2 duo 2ghz mother asus p5vd2-mx se pd: sorry about my english. SticMAC™
Just some input... I have two Wacom Bamboo tablets, although they look identical, the product codes differ and the only one that works is the one that said Mac compatible on the box You should check to see if the product code matches the driver for Mac, I think your starts with "PTZ" Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/67699-wacom-on-hackintosh/page/2/#findComment-1164754 Share on other sites
flosampo
mine in the box has windows vista icon, mac os icon and universal icon, so I think is compatible. What code do you say? where is it in the tablet? the product code is that one behind the tablet? SticMAC™
Yes my Bamboo that works has "MTE-450/K(A)" so the Intuos3 should start with "PTZ-xxx" Also important, make sure it run off a USB 2.0 port at full speed and not plugged into your, keyboard! Here is a script in some cases where the Inkwell software does start when you have installed the Tablet software Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/67699-wacom-on-hackintosh/page/2/#findComment-1164788 Share on other sites
